Junior Academy

About our Junior Academy

A team above all.
Above all a team.

Just a few years ago, our club was running one session for 7 dedicated junior players, with the hope that volleyball will soon become a popular sport among juniors too. We now run 8 sessions with over 150 juniors with the goal of developing a Junior Academy to feed players into both the Junior National Teams and adult teams across the country. 

Under 12s mixed
This session is designed to introduce young players to the sport in a fun and educational way, laying the foundation for their future growth and involvement in volleyball. All children over the age of 7 with a good ability to catch and throw balls are welcome.
Beginners U15/16 mixed
If your child has just discovered volleyball and would like to try it out, this is the perfect session for them. They will learn fundamentals and have fun with other children their age, with the goal of progressing to an age appropriate improvers sessions next season.
U16 & U18 Beginners & Improvers Mixed
The session aims to develop fundamental volleyball skills while fostering teamwork and communication. Players get a balanced mix of skill-focused drills and gameplay experience to build a solid foundation in volleyball.
U15 Improvers - Girls
This session aims to develop players' skills, teamwork, and game understanding, laying the foundation for their continued growth in the sport. They will participate in local and regional 4v4 tournaments.
U15 Improvers - Boys
This session aims to develop players' skills, teamwork, and game understanding, laying the foundation for their continued growth in the sport. They will participate in local and regional 4v4 tournaments.
U15/16 Advanced - Girls & Boys
This session is designed to challenge and refine players who have already established a strong foundation in the sport, aiming to elevate their skills and knowledge to the highest levels of play.
U18 Advanced - Girls
In this session we focus on perfecting advanced techniques in all aspects of the game, crafting and executing complex team strategies and tactics and preparing players for Tier 2 U18 national competition.
U18 Advanced - Boys
In this session we focus on perfecting advanced techniques in all aspects of the game, crafting and executing complex team strategies and tactics and preparing players for Tier 1 & 2 U18 national competition.

Professional Coaches

All our Junior Academy coaches are at least Level 1 qualified and DBS checked. Furthermore, we expect players from our adult team to assist with training our future generations of volleyball players.

Prestigious Club

Our club has been running in Milton Keynes for over 30 years. Our adult teams play in the National Volleyball League Division 1 (Ladies) and Division 2 (Men).

Venues

We have expanded our venue availability and collaborate closely with our partners to provide up to date facilities for our players.

We structured our Junior Academy squads so that our players can see the path they can take as they grow in both age and abilities.
